Where does the majority of the water used in a house go? Outdoors - in the yard! During the summer months, as much as 50% of water used at a residence is applied to a landscape. Recent summers have required a significant amount of irrigation to keep the landscape alive.

What's the solution? GREEN LANDSCAPING! Consider Xeriscape Landscaping, a concept in reducing outdoor water use, which saves time and money.

Artificial Grass

Have Green Living Services create the perfect lawn for you: A lawn that will never need watering, weeding, feeding, or MOWING!!

Enjoy your yard and never worry about kids, pets, pools, and traffic harming your lawn. Our artificial grass is tough enough to handle it all.

Our Premium Artificial Grass has an eight year factory warranty against ultraviolet degradation. However, the average life expectancy is fifteen to twenty years.

Our Artificial Grass is excellent for many different commercial applications. Many daycares and schools have installed our turf for use around playgrounds, swing sets, and bike paths. Our turf is designed for tough play. Football, soccer, and baseball fields have all used our artificial grass instead of real grass. We have installed our turf in high traffic areas of commercial office buildings.

The majority of synthetic turf owners are pet owners.

No more reseeding or replacing sod to remove unsightly brown patches.

With our Fresh Fill installed in the grass, the ammonia in pet urine is neutralized, and the odor is eliminated naturally.

For solid waste, simply pick up as you usually would and hose down the area. If needed, brush the turf back into its original state.

Frequently Asked Questions

How safe is it for my kids?

Not only is it safe, but the turf eliminates allergies. Research also shows that children have fewer injuries when playing on turf compared to other ground covers. We install turf at schools and daycares in addition to private homes. Our turf meets state requirements for safety.

Will the weather affect the turf?

We install the turf in the mountains where rain and snow drain very well with no flooding issues. Wind is also not a worry since the turf is secured with six-inch spikes. As you know, our Southwest sun can get scorching, so during direct midday sun, the grass may feel hot to the touch. The grass, however, does not retain heat like rock does. The turf can easily take even the hottest direct sunlight without damage, providing there isn’t any strong reflection or sun magnification.

Are weeds a problem?

Periodically a weed will try to come up most commonly on an edge or near concrete. Rarely one might pop up in a drain hole. If a weed does pop up, simply pull up the weed, and you can spray a little weed killer on it to help prevent them from coming up again.

What kind of maintenance is required for your artificial grass?

Periodically we suggest leaf blowing the turf to get rid of dust and debris. In traffic areas, use a rake or stiff broom to help re-fluff the turf. We also offer maintenance contracts for artificial grass too!

Putting Greens

Let Green Living Services take your golf game to a new level, providing outdoor fun without continued maintenance and upkeep a normal backyard area requires. Our putting greens would be a great addition to any residential home or commercial area.

Our artificial grass will look great and can be customized to fit not only your aesthetic desires of your backyard but also can be customized to fit your golf practice needs! Building a custom putting green has never been so affordable or easy. The techniques we use for installation and construction, along with the products we use in every design, will give you the realistic feel of a golf course.

Football & Soccer Fields

Artificial grass has been installed on professional fields for years. Now it is becoming more popular in recreation centers, city parks, and playgrounds. Compared to natural grass, it has less maintenance, is more resistant to wear, extremely durable, and is very user-friendly. Artificial grass retains the same play characteristics in every season with minimal maintenance.

Artificial sports fields have several benefits in the summer season as you don’t have to worry about areas being closed off for maintenance or watering. Artificial grass is also permeable so that water won’t accumulate on the surface even on rainy days!

Bocce Ball Courts

Most of our bocce ball courts are built for both commercial and residential applications 12 feet wide and 60 feet long. Edges serve as bumpers for the balls and are often used to playoff, so many customers have concrete curbing or rubber edging installed. Edge height is essential to maintain, so the balls don't jump the edges.

Drainage is critical to the long-term use and low maintenance of a bocce court. We install at least a two-inch decomposed granite base to help with drainage. Our non-infilled turf is used most often on bocce courts.

Heavily used commercial and recreational facilities' courts should budget for quarterly or bi-monthly grooming and the possible replacement of turf surfaces every 5-7 years.

Our turf is treated with UV protectors to ensure a long, fade-free life.

Tennis Courts

Artificial grass is becoming more popular in tennis courts. Compared to clay or natural grass, it has less maintenance, is more resistant to wear, repels dirt, and is exceptionally user-friendly.

Artificial grass retains the same play characteristics in every season with minimal maintenance. Artificial tennis courts have several benefits in the summer season as clay tennis courts get quite dusty in warm weather and often have to be sprayed while natural grass quickly becomes brown and bare.

Artificial grass is also permeable, so water won’t accumulate on the surface.

Hardscapes

Hardscapes are the inorganic materials that will help you define and fully utilize your outdoor environment. They also add structural interest and brilliance to your space. Some examples of hardscapes are Patios, walkways and borders; Boulders and mulches; and Retaining walls and built-in planters.

  • Concrete Curbing and Stamped Concrete
  • Define planting zones and walkways with borders and edging
  • Pavers and Windsor Walls
  • Anchor your design with strategically placed boulders or stacked stone
